The Pacific Northwest Mustang Club encourages and provides opportunity to develop friendship, cooperation and pride among Ford Mustang and other Ford-Powered vehicle owners.
Ownership is not essential, enthusiasm is!
The Pacific Northwest Mustang Club (PNWMC) was created in 1979. The club has steadily grown over the years and all generations of Mustangs are represented in the club. Our members also cover several generations yet, share a common love for that special Ford car, it’s enjoyment, preservation, and history.
The Pacific Northwest Mustang Club actively supports several charity organizations in the local area. We sponsor two car shows annually and participate in other local charity events, high school homecomings, etc.
Our monthly meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at Round Table Pizza at 1769 Leslie Road next to Safeway in Richland, WA. The meetings start at 7p in one of the private rooms. In August (the 21st) the meeting will be held at 7p at the far east end of Columbia Park by the bandshell (the same location as our spring show). For the August meeting only please bring chairs and a side dish, the club is providing chicken.
We have fun runs and monthly group events. These are great opportunities to come out and have a good time with fellow Club members. Most of our activities are family oriented and family participation is encouraged. In addition, many PNWMC’ers participate and display their cars in regional car shows, stop by and say ‘Hi’!
Your $24.00 annual membership dues bring you a full year’s subscription to the area’s best club newsletter, The Hoofprint, and a whole bunch of fellow Mustangers ready to meet you.
Now that you know a little more about the PNWMC, why not join us and become one of our growing herd? We invite you and your family to attend one of our functions as a guest to see what we’re all about. We hope you’ll decide to become actively involved as a member because participation is the foundation of PNWMC; by the members, for the members.
On December 10, 1980 the first meeting of the Pacific Northwest Mustang Club was held. Started by a group of men and eventually women, formed a club for fanatics who all just happened to own, had owned, or wanted to own a FORD MUSTANG. This group grew to approximately 75 active members. The club has outgrown meeting places such as Russ Dean Ford’s staff room, homes, small restaurants, big restaurants, other noisy places and in our 25th anniversary year seems to have found an ideal location to carry on a good business meeting in addition to having fun visiting about the group’s first love- their Ford Mustangs The club originally was to include classic Mustangs from the ’60’s but with the passing of time has grown to encompass all Mustangs from the ’64 1/2 to the present year’s models. The club also has members who own Cougars, Thunderbirds, Rancheros or other interesting Ford-powered vehicles.
